Who is Parul Jain? How would her besties describe her?
Someone who is very approachable and always there to help. Go-getter, hardworking, passionate, and always ready to take any new challenge head-on.
How did the idea for your business come about?
Over the last few years, people have become aware of the ill effects of fashion industry pollution. But they still can’t find better alternatives in a sustainable fashion. With Andoze, I took the responsibility to bring a positive impact by bringing more options into a sustainable fashion market.
If you had a magic stick, which are the three things you would change in the world?
- Lack of Empathy
- Social Inequality
- Disparity in Education
What part of your life experience would you alter if you had the chance to?
Covid time, there has been a lot of instability and I myself was constantly involved in various projects in the last few years that I did not get much time to travel. Traveling across the world, connecting with new people makes me happier, and brings out my creative side.
How do you normally begin your day? The first thing you prefer to do is that makes you productive.
Yoga and meditation. It keeps me calm, focused and productive all day long.
What is the best business advice you would like to give who are planning to start out?
Keep patience and be consistent. Be willing to improve on your day-to-day failures, and success will come. Clearly define what you want to do and achieve, and be fair in your business and with people.
What is an important lesson you’ve learned from running your own business?
- Entrepreneurship is a roller coaster ride- one day you feel you are at the top and the following day you could be at the bottom. Be prepared for everything.
- It takes time and heart to be an entrepreneur.
